- Nineteenth century Boyen Fortress in Giżycko Boyen Fortress, built between 1844-1856, is a well-preserved example of the Prussian school of fortification. It is situated on the west of Giżycko, on a narrow isthmus between Lake Niegocin and Lake Kisajno, was a major link in thechain of fortifications closing access from the east area of the Prussian country.
- Only in Europe the turning bridge on the Łuczanski Canal in Giżycko The Turing bridge was built in 1889 by Bechelt C.O. Grundberg und Shel Company from Zielona Góra. The bridge was built to provide a convenientconnection of the Boyen Fortress built in 1844-1857.
- The water Tower in Giżycko – the panorama of the Town and surroundings lakes. Water Tower was built in 1900, now it is a vantage point, , which offers views of the city and lake Niegocin. There is a local museum and cafe inside.

- During the World War II between 1941 and 1944 Wolfschanze was the main headquarters of Adolf Hitler. It was a place where Furher decided about the most important things which had influence on history of Europe. Now we can see remains of the huge defensive and residential building of the commander-in-chief of the Reich , but of course ruins themselves make a big impression.

- Wild Animal Park in Kadzidłowo - It is in Puszcza Piska Forest, in the area of Masurian Landscape Park, at the route between Ruciane-Nida and Mikołajki. You can see include: beavers, wolves, cranes, elk, Dybowski deer, roe deer, fallow deer, lynx, wild boar and many species of birds.

- Forester in Pranie - Forester Pranie was built in 1880. It is situated in Puszcza Piska (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship) near Lake Nidzkie. It is famous because of stay of Polish poet Konstanty Idelfons Gałczyński there, whose first stay there was in July, in 1950. For next three years he came there as a guest of the woodman Stanislaw Popowski. In 1952 he thought about moving to Pranie but he died in December 1953. In 1980 the Museum of Konstanty Idelfons was opened for the firs time.
